Who will rise up for me against the evildoers?
Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
Psalm 94:16
This past Sunday, April 26, 2015, former Olympic athlete and Decathlon winner, Bruce Jenner, came out of the closet as being a woman in a man's body. He was suffered from gender identity confusion nearly all his life. He feels now is the time to come out of hiding and to let the whole world know who he really is. But as I listened to his interview with Diane Sawyer, I heard a lot about feelings and almost nothing about the facts, especially from the point of view of God's Word. When society runs away from God, deep into the wilderness of sin (without a map), we need for Biblical Christians to Stand up and to Speak up on behalf of GOD and His WORD.
The question is no longer - is a particular behavior right or wrong? But rather - how do you feel about it, or what do you think about it? As a people have forsaken God, and have factored God and His Word out of the moral equation of society. Though we, as a nation may not agree with God's assessment, Righteousness still exalts a nation and Sin is still a reproach to any people. - Proverbs 14:34
We know that the enemy, Satan, has stepped up his game in these last days, but again God reminds us in His Word, When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord raises up a Standard against him. - Isaiah 59:19. Yes we, as Bible Believing Christians, must raise up the Standard of God's Word against the evil that dominates our culture. There is so much that could be said about this issue, but I will close with this thought.
I came not to judge the world, but to save it ... he that rejects Me and receives not My Words, has one that judges him: the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. - John 12:47-48
There is such a thing as Right and Wrong, and God has defined what is Right and Wrong, and God has defined what is Right and what is Wrong in his Word. It is His Son Jesus Christ. Bruce Jenner is a man that God deeply loves through His Son Jesus Christ. I invite Bruce to flee into the out stretched arms of Jesus Christ, who is able to save all men from their sins.
Remember Bruce, "That if any man be in Christ, he IS a new creature, old things have passed away; behold, ALL things are become New."
